In February 2019, COICA’s Women and Family Council held its first meeting in Ecuador’s Amazon. Participation in the event included women leaders from the 9 countries of the Amazon Basin. The Amazon is the world’s largest tropical forest and today it is in danger. Amazonian women are united and organized for the protection of their rights, their way of life, and their mother earth. It’s time to support them! Let’s raise their voice!
