On July, 2017, we participated in COICA’s CDC (Direction Committee) and CCC (Coordination Committee) meetings in Pucallpa, besides the First Congress of Amazonian Women that they organized.
During this meetings we organized the participation of AMPB delegates, who presented the plan for «The Route to Bonn». Sadly, the time constraints did not allow us to organize the participation of the APIB representatives.
«The Route to Bonn» was approved by COICA which compromised their participation.
Other organizations that attended the meeting in Pucallpa (HIVOS, WWF) showed interest also in supporting the bus tour.
We saw in Pucallpa the possibility to support the empowerment process for COICA women within their organization, as well as the amazonian youth that gathered in Pucallpa and started to organize themselves.
