During two days we gathered in Petén, Guatemala, with different support organizations to analyse the activities performed the “global initiative” in international venues, and to plan others now that we are close to COP in Bonn. We defined the next steps and also our responsibilities. We also discussed the implementation of a communications strategy for ACOCOP, regarding the Mayan Biosphere Reserve fires. (in order to face the media campaign that blames the communities for the fires).
